Reporting Suspected Fraud, Waste, and Abuse to the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT)

The PUC fosters integrity, transparency, and accountability through its Fraud, Waste, and Abuse Prevention Program. This program equips employees with the tools and support to prevent and address these challenges. Tackling such issues is a collective responsibility and your proactive efforts are vital to ensuring the responsible and efficient stewardship of taxpayer resources.

If you have a reasonable basis to believe that fraud, waste, or abuse has occurred within PUCT programs, it is crucial to report these incidents promptly to the agency's Office of Internal Audit or the State Auditor's Office. You may choose to report allegations of fraud, waste, or abuse anonymously; however, please provide as much detailed information as possible so that the appropriate action can be taken. Reports of suspected fraud, waste, or abuse may be made by one of the following methods:
